Jesus is my Everything…

Yes, Jesus is my everything.

When I was 16 and pregnant with an appointment for an abortion,

I was hurt lost and wandering.

Jesus reached out in love I never knew and rescued me.

He rescued me from darkness and held gentle my wounded heart.

He was broken for my broken, but His broken makes me whole.

My life surrendered it always safe in His hands.

18 years later, Jesus is still my Everything.

He was pierced for our rebellion,

crushed for our sins.

He was beaten so we could be whole.

He was whipped so we could be healed.

Isaiah 53:5 NLT

Jesus was broken for our broken,

but His broken makes us whole. Is 53:5 <— Tweetable, eh?

What a great video. When you only catch glimpses of someone’s heart on their blog it is so fun to see them and hear them (and see their precious first born). Thank you Michelle.

Even though I’m much older than you are, and those events were never discussed until about 40 years ago, I’ve known much from our generational history that goes back much further with these serious issues. AND I’m so grateful that our Lord broke through and turned life around and, even though a few are still involved, the majority have now turned to the Lord and His desires. Thank you for being honest and sharing so sincerely.

      Joanne,

Thank you for the courage in sharing a part of your story. Even in the midst of the ugly, God can bring out something beautiful, by His grace. To Him be all the glory1

      Blessings to you,

I am so happy your Momma became a Christian earlier on. The help we can get may not come from outside but from within.
