Search me, O God [Dream Again Day 19]

Search me, O God, and know my heart.
Try me and know my thoughts.
And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 139:23-24 EVS

“Living full in Christ requires bent knees, bowed heads, humble hearts–confession. And in return He resurrects the dead, breathing new life where only a husk existed. He is risen, and, in Him, we rise.” Kris Camealy :: Holey, Wholly, Holy (Available Feb. 1)

This must be Psalm 139 day! The call to have our hearts searched is part scary, part emboldening. We can’t help but be changed in a marvelous way as a result. The key is to take the deep breath and allow Him to make those changes within us!

  • Joanne Norton

Oh, YES!!! I count on that!!! Thank you.

  • Rona

I’m always uplifted when I stop by for a visit.

God is so good that He really wants us to get our identity right…in Him alone, fully and completely loved and accepted. I worked for a ministry I loved for years, but it was time to step down. I fought it. Who would I be? What value would I have? No title, no recognition, no clear assignments. God wanted my identity to be in Him, not in the ministry I served in. Amazing God!
Your sharing here is so transparent…thank you!

    • Michele-Lyn

Yes, I totally understand. And I believe that having our identity established in Christ is a work in progress, as we get to know Him more and more! Beautiful Lord…
