A Little About Me…

Hi friend, I’m Michele-Lyn, a New York City girl living in the country in Florida. I am a mama of four beautiful children — three spunky, confident beautiful girls (6, 16, and 22 years old) and one tender-hearted handsome son (13 years old). I would not trade for anything the HAPPY CHAOS we make as a family — together. Although, this introverted mama does need regular “alone time” breaks.

My redemption story in once sentence is, Jesus rescued me when I was 16 and pregnant, and I have belonged to Him ever since. Watch my 20 second video here and meet my baby girl He rescued too.
In this online space, you’ll find me writing about motherhood, missions, and beautiful messes. I’m more of a mess than I care to admit, but I will. I’ve shared many stories on this little blog. When you read them, I hope you find you are not alone, and that God wants to meet you where you are.

My favorite stories to write are the real-life ones filled with beautiful, grace-filled messy moments.

Here are a few…

My Story Part 1 may be a good place to start.

Then, On Days Like These…

And, Mamas can dream…

This one is kinda fun: A Few Things I ♥

Currently, you will find me writing regularly at The Pointed Life, a women’s ministry I founded in 2015, which through devotions, studies, and videos encourages women to lead a life that points the way to God. It is my heart’s passion to help other women know the truth of who they are in God, so they may run free in their purpose. I continue to be a longtime advocate for World Help, and I love Instagram. Come say “Hi!” there!

Love your blog. Could you share what you’ve included in the picnic lunch buffet baskets? It is absolutely adorable!

Thought I would come and introduce myself over at your blog (which I love by the way)… I’m fairly new to all this Tweeting, blogging and writing etc.. I love your heart and the depth behind your words 🙂 I live in Thailand at the moment, but I come from South Africa and I love that so many of you have a heart for Africa. Also for the orphans, but mostly for God and to live for Him.. May God bless you every step of the way!

What a lovely website! I’m especially touched by “words that convince me to click the publish button.” I’ve never read that verse in The Message. Sometimes that button is so hard to push…the self-revelation, the feeling that you are sending something precious into a black hole, etc. I’m writing this verse and putting it up!

Those words in the message Bible literally transformed my heart over 3 years ago. I have never been the same…”Keep open house” went against every fiber of my being 🙂 But since I have practiced living this verse, I am convinced I never want to go back to hiding 🙂

I just believe God will take the words to who needs them… and I believe that with you! It says He is the One that puts us up to shine 🙂

Blessings to you and thank you for visiting me here,
