Here is the most recent update from beautiful Joanna. Her faith is inspiring. Anyone who knows her has a special God-given gift in their life.
Joanna’s words,
Hey, thank you so much for asking how I’m doing. I’ve been home for a few days now, and I can’t even explain how amazing its been to be home!! I’m on the feeding tube, but I’m still throwing up everything I eat. The tube has given me the nutrition and energy I need to begin to build my strength back and get back into normal life. I’m planning on going back to school next Tuesday, but I will only be able to finish half of my classes. Even though I’m feeling much better than I did in the hospital, the problem is still not solved. If I’m still throwing up, we are planning on going to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore when I’m done with school, in a month. We have family there that we would be staying with, so I won’t have to stay at the hospital. Once again, I am SO thankful for your prayers!! It is such and encouragement! You are such a blessing!♥
Thanks be to God that Joanna is home now. Let’s continue to pray that her stomach will heal she will continue to be strengthened as her body is now receiving the nutrients it needs. Lord willing, she will be healed before the month is up, that she will be able to keep down her food, and have her feeding tube removed. Through it all, Joanna has continued to remain strong in her faith and full of the JOY of the Lord. Her life brings God glory. Continue to pray for wisdom for the family and doctors, as well as provision.
