So, I have a few findings to share with you. Last time I said I might change the name. Well, I did. Five was too much pressure, especially for the weeks I don’t get so much time on the web because I’m nursing feverish toddlers. I’m going with “a few.” Here you have it, friends.

My Favorite Mama-Must-Have: A Braun Thermoscan Ear Thermometer. I was happy I could easily find, in our “mess” this week, our ear thermometer. Two nights in a row I was up monitoring my toddler’s high fever. And with this it takes 3 seconds. Of course, I checked her about 100 times. click here to view on Amazon
My Favorite Movie: So, there will be major changes to our diet happening at home. It’s time to care more about my health and the health of my family, and actually do something about it. I’m thinking long-term here, friends. Well, the movie Food Matters, is a great place for us to start. I watched it on Netflix, and I let the family know we ALL will be watching it. Click here for the trailer.
My Favorite Blog Post: Actually, there’s two. There is a most beautiful mama on the web and her name is Lisa-Jo. I’m sure you’ve heard of her. She tells a beautiful story with her life. I’m not sure my words could do her justice. So, I’ll share hers with you. Then you can go for a visit.

A really fuzzy picture of Lisa-Jo and I at Allume last year. I just love her.
Lisa-Jo’s post on comparison: Comparisons will kick you in the teeth and hijack your dreams every time
“There are virtual warehouses of new ways we can find to covet our neighbor’s house, family and life these days. Nothing is as terrifying as thinking you don’t matter because you can’t do it like her.” — Lisa-Jo Baker
Lisa-Jo’s post on motherhood: When you’re wondering if you can face another week of the same routine
And in asking, “But what if we’ve got it backwards?” she’s helping me be a better mama, and making the sacrifice to be one is really the gift.
My Favorite What-if: “What if that macaroni necklace you wore for two weeks straight is the Tiffany’s of a five year old’s recollection because you treated it as such?” — Lisa-Jo Baker
That’s five. I’m good with that. And I hope that you gain from me sharing. Follow along by email, friend?

P.S. This week the To Walk or Stay online book club begins. Monday, I’ll be sharing about community. On Tuesday, I’ll be a guest at One September Day. Wednesday, I hope to write about my “one word” for the year — late, I know. 😉 Thursday I’ll be at Allume blog, and Friday, we will see. 🙂
