I was truly humbled when Barbie contacted me. “I want to ask if you would give me the honor of being my “Inspired Blogger” for the month of May?”

I cried. Here is part of my response in an email to her,

“Upon reading your email, I feel un-rather like an “inspirer”. Just moments before I opened up my new email, I spoke harshly to my determined pre-teen daughter… I am so humbled right now. I have to remember, it is not because of my goodness, but His. It is not my adequacy, but His. So, in my inadequacy, I answer a trembling yes. I am truly, truly humbled and honored that you would consider me.”

I am sincere in saying this. I am in awe of God’s goodness in this place. I overwhelmed by the encouraging words this community of grace-filled, love-pouring, God-loving woman leave for me. I often walk out my days wondering if you really know what a MESS I am, and what kind of MESSES I have to step over everyday! I wonder if you know how many times I say the wrong things that I cannot ever take back, or how many times I am less than grateful.

I want to make sure you know that this work of transformation is a messy process. I am learning this grace walk, and with you, I want to share my stories of how I am navigating my way, so you can know,

“You are not the only one.”

GRACE is freedom to live without the fear of losing

love, and acceptance if the job of transformation gets too messy.

We will make mistakes, sometimes the same ones over and over,

and may look silly falling over ourselves making them.

GRACE is the net into which we fall.
