He did not think of equality with God
as something to cling to.
Instead, He gave up His divine privileges;
He took the humble position of a servant
and was born as a human being.

Philippians 2:6-7 NLT

He gave up His divine privileges to come, and be born as a human.

And we celebrate, and call it Christmas.

The question I’ve asked, and not sure I’ve answered well, still,

“What can I give up, because He gave?”
