they do JUSTICE

If we were sitting face to face over coffee, I would tell you all that I believe God has been working into my heart and life. I would tell you how I am still seeking and a bit unsure about it all, but I know it’s Him. He’s wanting me to understand what justice means to Him. And also, what it means for me, as a mama and my family. I see dimly what God has before me, but I am still walking forward, taking steps, some small and some a bit bigger — by faith.

Along this journey of pursuing justice, learning what is means for me to do justice, I’ve been inspired by others whose hearts and lives are pursuing the same. I’m learning from them. I want to share them with you.

Join me this upcoming week for the new series? There is so much I want to tell you about how…

“When we act justly—when we our lives away—we have the best chance of glimpsing what grace truly is and experiencing, along the way, what Jesus calls “complete joy” (see John 15:11)… We are never closer to God than when we are pursuing justice by serving others. No secondary agenda. Just the purity of sacrificial love.” –Ken Wytsma, Pursuing Justice: The Call to Live and Die for Bigger Things
