To my precious readers… Today,  I linked with precious, beautiful others at The Gypsy Mama , who prompts writers with a word. Today it is TOGETHER. Then we have just 5 minutes to let the words flow, unhindered, from our hearts. Here is my 5 minutes worth.

We are walking down this bumpy, winding road.

Sometimes we do not know where we are going, but we journey — together.

Sometimes I stumble and you lift me up, dust me off and on our way we go — together.

Sometimes you fall under the weight of the burden you bear, and I wonder how you carried it so long. I know somehow, we will make it — together.

I know I cannot carry you, but I lift you up to the One Who can and we keep walking —together.

We have been hurt and wounded deep along the way, sometimes each one different and sometimes the same — together.

We were young, ever so young, when we first met, and I am amazed at how far we have come. There is no doubt in knowing the One who put us together, takes joy in helping us become as one — together.

Sometimes we do not know where this road will lead us, the path before us not as bright and clear as we’d hoped, but when we cannot see — we wander together, wonder together, gaze together, continue our walk together, looking toward the One Who holds us and ALL things. I am grateful for every moment we are and will be — together.
