I was up before the sun today so I can make the dough for the cinnamon rolls — it needed time to rise. I woke up with this on my heart. This message to the shepherds, and to the world; “good-will toward men.” The gift of the Savior as an undeniable expression of God’s good-will and grace toward us.
The Prince of Peace came to make peace between us and God, reconciling us to the Father. Oh, how pleased the Father was to hear His angels announce to those sheep herders that day. The greatest message in all of time — the Good News to the world. All the while, knowing soon, all things would be reconciled back to Himself through Christ — by making peace through His sacrifice. (Colossians 1:20)
And I hope that the peace and love and joy Christ came to give is a reality in your Christmas, and all through your days. Even the days filled with hard thanks, may His grace abound in your life.
Merry Christmas to you and those precious ones you love.
With love,
Michele-Lyn
